Utrecht was built around the Dom tower,
which you can see from any point in the city, so there is no way you
can get lost in the full of history medieval city centre. Utrecht boasts
beautiful canals with extraordinary wharf cellars housing cafés and
terraces by the water. Many often overlooked the charming city Utrecht, it does feel less touristy compare to Amsterdam.
I happened to be here in the summer. All the greenery and sunshine does makes a big difference in the pictures. A broad variety of shops, boutiques and convenience store lines the canals and streets in
the inner city. The city centre is small enough to explore on foot but
big enough to entertain you for days with arts and culture. Most part of the city is pedestrian only. If you need a restaurant recommendation, here is one Restaurant des Arts.
