Driving pass vineyards after vineyards through the beautiful Burgundy countryside and stunning centuries old villages. We came across this domaine was open between Pommard and Puligny Montrachet. Wine cellars and vineyards in Burgundy are not always accessible to the public. Renting a car is the best way to meet independent, family winegrowers typical to Burgundy. You will find that having a vehicle would be ideal as you will end up buying cartons of wine at vineyards' prices (usually unavailable outside France). At Domaine Patrick Clémencet, we get to preview their ancient cellars, taste wonderful wines straight from the barrel.
Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune has some of the world-famous villages such
as Meursault,
Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet,
Savigny-Les-Beaune, Nuits St Georges, Vosne Romanée and
Pommard. I hope to visit all of them =)
