The Altstadt is just by the Rhine River. It features a few old buildings, some gift shops, and many restaurants & bars. It's kind of
quiet during the day, but come to life in the evening. I visited around Christmas and enjoyed the various Weinachtsmarkts stretching from Bolker Strasse to the Marktplatz.
