Ace Hotel Shoreditch London is modern, hipster kinda hotel. Everyone who works here are either hip or  into casual rock and roll. I can understand the vibe rub off from the Bricklane and East London in general.

Its like 18 mins walk from liverpool street station. (I took the bus from the station because I have 2 piece luggage) The concept is fairly cool, but its like a turn off, because everything you see in the room are additional cost. I chose this hotel mainly because its newly built, so all the facilities are new.  There is gym at the basement which I didn't have time to check it out.

The area is very convenient, 1 min walk to Dishoom Shoreditch or Pump foodcourt, 3 mins walk to boxpark, 5 mins walk to Bricklane, 8 mins walk to Queen of Hoxton Bar and 12 mins walk to Old Spitalfields Market. 23 mins walk to Duck & Waffle. It can fill up your day in the area.
