The One Bedroom Villa with Private Pool at Aston Sunset Beach Resort is fairly
alright for Indonesia standard. I won't say its the best looking villa but at least its functional.
The room is tight, the shower is weak, the wifi is strong. The safety box is a good feature. The resort is fairly nice to have complimentary bicycles but they are gone fast during peak season.
The resort gets lowtide at the evening time.
Location of the hotel is very far from the jetty. Its about SGD$10 donkey ride to the hotel. Its fixed price so no need to haggle with the driver. Its not recommended to walk from jetty to hotel as there is too much potholes along the way. There is no stand-alone restaurant around the area except the resort in-house restaurant, the best chance is to eat at the neighbouring resorts next to you. There is no convenient stores near by. There is one atm machine 5 mins walk.
If you like meal options, you have to travel by donkey cidomo to the jetty/central of the island where its lively and has cafe or restaurant options.
If you have better choice, please stay at or nearby Pearl Trawangan Resort.
