Nguyen Hue Walking Street starts from the People's Committee Building of Ho Chi Minh City to the Saigon River. The present reconstruction is scheduled to reopen on 30 April 2015 for the 40th anniversary of the Reunification of Vietnam. At the other end of the pedestrian street you find the Saigon River from where you can enjoy a nice view and evening breeze. Walking from one end of the street to the other takes you around 15 minutes and you will find some motorist food vendor, nice bars and restaurants along the way. It is best to walk on Nguyen Hue Street at night, or take a seat on one of the benches, to have a look at the daily life and routine of the locals.
