Most hotel at Arashimaya is famed tofu omakase but we didn't try that.
We had Kaiseki instead, it was nice surprise because they sat us in front of the river. Basically having lunch while as we watch the world go by.
Kaiseki is a traditional Japanese multi-course meal prepared from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Some dishes are served hot, while others are served chilled or at room temperature. The progression of the course are to match the pace of the customer's eating speed.
Tenryuji has 8 dishes at 6,000 YEN.

The highlight was the fish shabu shabu and shrimp dumpling.
Everything else were fresh and top notch.
They even offer option to take a onsen bath after lunch for a small fee.
