The Torre dei Lamberti is an 84 m high tower in Verona. Construction of the tower was started in 1172. In May 1403 the top of the tower was struck by lightning, but the restoration works didn't start until 1448 and took 16 years. Torre dei Lamberti - stood proudly on the Piazza Delle Erbe, the Torre dei Lamberti is the tallest tower in Verona standing at 84m high. If you want to see Verona from a birds' eye view, you can climb to the top of the tower and see the whole of the city spread out before you. Very beautiful view from the top. I decided to take the elevator. It cost additional 1 euro more per person. The people working in the ticket office was polite. It's worth going up to see, if you're not scared from height. One of the best views of the city. Every half hour the bell rings and it is amazing. The tariff is 5 euros per person.
