Possibly the best sushi fare you can get in Singapore. The chefs in Shinji really take a lot of pride in the food they serve, and service was immaculate.
Although they are pricey for dinner, you can come by during lunch where its much fairer in value. In any case, I try to never let prices affect the ratings I give, as I see it more as a rating on food, not anything else.
Hence, taste wise, Shinji definitely deserves full marks. The freshness of the food is outstanding and the chefs in Shinji take a lot of pride in the food they serve. They're knowledgeable, and very friendly at the same time. The service staff are just as amazing, from start to finish, they are very attentive without being intrusive. It's always a joy and pleasure to go back to Shinji to experience an outstanding service and food. It's definitely worthwhile to eat here when you crave authentic Japanese omakase!
