Porta Ticinese - Milan, Italy

Ticinese is a hip area in the Centro Storico district where students and hipsters patronise low-key trattorias, gelatoria, bars and late-night hangouts, and the streets are dotted with vintage shops, cool pop-up stores and art. The neighborhood is also very close to the Basilica di San Lorenzo Maggiore, with 4th-century origins, and the Basilica di Sant’Eustorgio, which contains frescoes by Renaissance artist Vincenzo Foppa.
