I just had the aperitivo at the hostel. They don't charge for the food at all, as long as you have a drink. Its actually included in the stay. Don't arrive too late, or you won't be able to get a table. Breakfast and Simple Dinner included. Beers, cocktails and wine glasses at a fair price.
The staff is generally helpful, ready to help you in different languages. The room is clean and you must retrieve the bedsheet, pillow case and towel upon check out.
