Castello S.Forza - Milan, Italy

S.Forza Castle is in Milan, Northern Italy. It was built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan, on the remnants of a 14th-century fortification. Later renovated and enlarged, in the 16th and 17th centuries it was one of the largest citadels in Europe While in Milano I decided to visit the Castle several times. Each time whether it's early morning, afternoon or night was as wonderful as the first. There are also a few restaurants in the area where you can have a nice lunch or dinner if you choose. Make sure you have time when you visit so you can walk through the Castle to the higher levels as well as around the grounds. Take a nice photo near the fountain in the front and you won't regret it. There are few metro stations nearby so getting there is quite easy.If you're interested in history, it should be in your top position in your list. The castle is intact and still has it's beauty not changed through the centuries. You have the opportunity to take a tour in side the museum and to admire the collection in. The painting are not so much but deserve to be looked for. Have some collection of weapons from middle ages.Pictures by MSW
