We visited the Grand Canyon just when it reopened after the US Government
shutdown and went down until Skeleton Point (around 7 miles round-trip).
I read it was much better (and harder) than the Bright Angel Trail. There were many narrow slope, at one point you could see both side of the cliff. It was a great way to explore the Grand Canyon by foot.
