Kozantei Ubuya Ryokan is by far the most well positioned hotel to enjoy the view of Mount Fuji and Kawaguchiko Lake. It is very expensive to stay here. I did half board stay meaning inclusive dinner. The weird thing about the Ryokan was a hassle, booking through its website. Intended to stay 2 nights, but their original website only capable of per booking per night. Hence, had to book twiced separately
Upon arrival at the Kawaguchiko Station, go to the far end where there is a hut on its own. Its the information desk where you may ask them to notify your respective Ryokan about your arrival. Kozantei Ubuya Ryokan will send their shuttle bus to come pick you up. Generally, they will pick you up 3pm onwards. You can hang around Kawaguchiko Station if you arrived too early.
The wifi is strong, the ryokan stay was clean, pleasant. The view itself was really priceless.
Love the public onsen of the ryokan, see more pics here.
