Le Soufflé is definitely one of a kind hole in a wall. Every item on the menu pays tribute to Soufflé. You can have Soufflé entree, Soufflé main and you guessed it, Soufflé desserts. Don't worry, the prior 2 Soufflé are savoury Soufflé.
The idea of having 3 Soufflé for a full course meal was intriguing at first. Once I had my first savoury Soufflé entree, I knew that I won't be too excited for the next main course Soufflé. This restaurant bang out Soufflé like a train speed. After this Soufflé marathon, my conclusion is that Soufflé should remain as a desserts.
The restaurant has proper dishes other than Soufflé. If you are curious, just skip the savoury Soufflé if possible. Settle for the creative desserts Soufflé will be more satisfying.
The only Soufflé that I enjoyed was the Grand Marnier Soufflé. The savoury Soufflé has this eggy after taste which was not to my liking.
Oh ya, skip the creme brulee. it was lousy.
I am not too sure whether I would come back to this restaurant. But when I do, I just want to have sweet Soufflé only.
