After a few days in Dubrovnik area. there were little choices of local food, as the old city is infested with pizzeria and pasta shops that carter to American tourist.
It was a great to stumble upon this restaurant in the middle of the woods.
Its a bit of drive from Dubrovnik
almost near Bosnia borders, Konoba Vinica Monkovic serves up rustic dishes.
I especially love their Smoked Trout, Wild Boar Stew and Red wine poached pear!
Its very popular too, can get very crowded so be sure to arrive early!
