Matamanoa Island Resort is fairly big island with lots of place for immerse yourself with nature. There are crabs near the rocks, look out point at the spa, look out point at the hilltop.
There are plenty of activities to choose from.
I only did snorkeling group thing on the island. Other than that, I only walked around partially around the island. Swimming in the beach can be rough, the waves are pretty strong. Even snorkeling in the rough ocean was really strenuous on Matamanoa island. It can be dangerous if you don't know how to swim. The waves were surfer friendly for sure. The resort has a spa area for massage.
