Rak Talay Travel is reliable travel agency. Although the boat trip to Koh Similan was pleasant. It was over crowded for my preference. There were about 50 passenger on the tour that day. It was a squeeze boat ride there. They brought us to all the location as listed on the itinerary.
In general, Koh Similan is very popular with tourist and super crowded everyday. Almost every minutes there are boats arriving with numerous passengers. Its very much like Koh Phi Phi.
I paid SGD$99 per pax during the low season (About 2300Baht, end of April - beginning of May)
The Boat embark from the Pakarang beach at Khao Lak,
if you stay in Phuket, it will be 1 hour 40 mins drive to this jetty/beach at Khao Lak (subject to additional charges)
It felt a bit rush during the tour and point to point visits. Pantry were filled with snacks and sodas. Sliced watermelon and cold towel were served at the end of the tour.
Unable to enjoy the beach much due to overcrowding and time limits.
During my snorkeling, I swam with turtle. =)
The lunch buffet spread was good and filling. Rak Talay Travel is not no.1 on my list, but its no.2 for effort and proper planning.
