On the day of arrival in Portugal, It was wet and I was half soaked from the on and off drizzle!
Chance upon this restaurant while getting familiarized with the area and it looked cozy and its menu is unpretentious!
In additional their prices were fair!
To my surprise, the interior were charming, so was its food served.
Most memorable dish would be the Octopus! its was perfect! Other highlight would be the rolled breaded pork starter! I find the stuffed boar loin a bit too over the top with its filling; in order to enjoy this dish, you must love goat cheese & foie gras and berries & apple jam all together!
The mango crumble dessert is ordinary!
Dinner here is very good, if you know what to do order! I was being adventurous on some of their offering. The quality of the food and services were immaculate!
You can see that the restaurant is quite full with local all days thru out the week!
I was lucky because I dine at 7pm sharp. Most Portuguese starts flowing in at 8:30pm onwards!
Definitely top of my list if visiting Porto, Portugal!
