Porto is one of the few places left where old Belgian made Tram are still operational!
The first trams in Porto began circulating in 1895.
the woodwork of the tram are still intact!
it felt like traveled back in time to enjoy this ride
Very simple gear and ingenious hinking without turning the tram around unlike the San Francisco Cable Car which needs to be turned everytime it reached the end of the rail.
the seats are really cool! you will have to sit through to the last stop to find out!

there only 4 lines you can take! most of it circled the city centre except line 1 which run along the Duoro river toward Matosinhos. What a delightful way to spend the day in Porto!
