The Madeleine Cave is situated at the heart of the Ardèche Canyon along the scenic road that overhangs the Ardèche river between Vallon Pont d’Arc and Saint Martin.
The Madeleine Cave opened in 1969 and has since been awarded three
stars by the famous Michelin Guide. Guided trail into the cave and discover a
wonderful world created by water, millions years ago. The tour includes a
great short light show!
Its really unique cave, with tasty water too! =)
There were odd shape stalactite and stalagmite down there.
There is one that look a tail of a fish.
This cave is for reasonably fit person. There are many flights of stairs. Wearing proper footwear with good grip is highly recommended. Its wet down there into the cave.
