In the middle of the sumptuous lounges on the first floor of the Maison Baccarat in the 16th district, the Cristal Room restaurant offers an inventive cuisine orchestrated by the Michelin starred chef Guy Martin. In this exceptional setting of the Cristal Room Baccarat, former private hotel of Marie-Laure de Noailles, reinvented by Philippe Starck, we can also appreciate as a museum the heritage collection and the famous ballroom of "Vicomtesse du Bizarre". A superb setting for the contemporary cuisine.
Dinner here is an experience, the decor does set the mood for a romantic dinner. I felt one dish particularly was off key! the Salmon roll was pretty bad. The veal and Seabass main were excellent. The wine pairings are rather unique! I felt like His Royal Highness for a day! As we all know, the Sultan of Brunei's Palaces' Hall are decked with Chandeliers by Baccarat!
