Valladolid is a beautiful colonial town, most travelers uses Valladolid as a based for a few days to visit some of Yucatan iconic landmarks including Chichen Itza. I wanted a place near the center but equipped with modern amenities. The Colonte Hotel Origen is aesthetically charming of a typical Mexican hut that still uphold the laid-back vibe. The property is very easy on the eyes and not those 21st century block hotel chains that ruins the colonial town. Lush greens and natural light filled the space. I highly recommend this hotel to stay while visiting Valladolid.
