Perched at the top of the hilly neighborhood, the Yasaka-no-To Pagoda shrine dominates the skyline in this part of neighbourhood. Just beautiful. Enjoy the view from Arabica coffee shop just down below. All pagodas comes with temples, but Yasaka-no-to Pagoda stands alone, the Hokanji Temple buildings of the temple had been destroyed by fires, earthquakes and wars over the years. Hence leaving the pagoda survived. It stands at the top of Yasaka-dori. The pagoda can easily be accessed from Higashioji-dori. The only cherry blossom tree at the base of the pagoda.
