Aegean Airlines always packed Santorini tourist and the planes are fairly new and clean. You are able to choose your seats prior when you check in.
Santorini Airport has nothing to do, one food stall at the ground floor before security check and one food stall at the second floor. My advice for checking in, just arrive 1 hour prior to boarding.
